The Original Dropkick Murphy, Episode 103
The name Dropkick Murphy is associated today with an American Celtic Punk Band called the Dropkick Murphys. Most folks don't know that the band stole that name from a doctor, a wrestler and real Boston character called, what else? Dropkick Murphy. He was a well known wrestler who worked his way through medical school and in the 1940s started a sanitorium for alcoholics in Acton, Mass.
